We will crown a Long Island Grand Champion in each age group for
those who entered all of the CATZ Challenge Events.

Each athlete will receive a complete print out and evaluation of their athleticism by CATZ – Competitive Athlete Training Zone, providing a base-line score or time
for speed, agility, upper body strength, core strength, lower body power and
anaerobic endurance. Each category will then be compared to a
national sampling of athletes in each age and sport.

Laser tested 40-yard dash speed to the 100th of a second

5-10-5 AGILITY SHUTTLE:
Each athlete sprints 5 yards in one direction, quickly stops and changes direction for
a 10 yard sprint, stops and changes direction again for 5 yards

VERTICAL JUMP:
Digitally tested vertical jump accuracy to the 100th of an inch

KNEELING MEDICINE BALL THROW:
Using a weighted medicine ball, distance thrown is measured to evaluate for upper
body and core strength

300 YARD SHUTTLE:
Each athlete sprints 25 yards and touches a line, sprints back 25 yards, touches the
line and repeats 6 times. Stopwatch records time to the 100th of a second.
