Seminars and Demonstrations

Seminars and Demonstrations will take place throughout the weekend on a wide variety of subjects including weight training, fitness and conditioning, athletic injuries and rehabilitation, coaching techniques, sports specific skills and much more – please see schedule when it is available for specific topics and times.

Nutrition for Today’s Athlete:
Pre and Post Workout Nutrition – Living the Healthy Lifestyle to Enhance Your Performance

Sports Injury Prevention:
Workout and strength training strategies to help athletes and individuals of all skills levels perform their best through injury prevention and proper conditioning. Using the right equipment, conditioning strategies and workout schedules.

Supplements and Danger of Steroid Use:
In order to achieve peak performance athletes on all levels turn to supplements, steroid use and many other performance enhancing substances. How does this affect an athletes health and future performance – a no nonsense examination of this controversial subject.

Sport Specific Injuries:
ACL, Meniscus, Rotator Cuff, Hamstrings, etc. Explaining these sport specific injuries and how best to prevent them through proper conditioning and strength training.

Parents and Youth Sports:
Examine relationships between parents, their children and coaches – how best to manage and communicate with the student-athletes. Goal is to help children enjoy and continue their participation in organized sports and athletics.

Youth Athletics and Winning:
How important is winning in youth sports – why do children participate in athletics – the role of the coach, parent and peer athlete. Building character development and good sportsmanship.

Fitness Training and Body Weight Conditioning For Life:
At any age you can be in top physical and mental condition. What you need to do at any age to be at your peak condition. Examine strength training, aerobic workouts, yoga, pilates, etc.

Live Hands-On Demonstrations will take place in the main sports arena area incorporating numerous sports such as soccer, field hockey, baseball, football, wrestling, basketball, field and track, gymnastics, cheerleading, plus much more.
